The increasingly mutilated English language

Have you ever noticed how dumb people are getting? It's true, America is in a complete downward spiral of stupidity. I'm not talking about our government (that would take WAY too long), our welfare system (welcome all white trash), or our foreign policy (a little nuke'll do ya). I'm talking about our most basic "currency", our language. It's barely recognizable anymore! Does this bother anyone else??

First of all--my ABSOLUTE worst pet peeve--the growing number of idiots who cannot force themselves to use "YOU'RE" and "YOUR" correctly. As in: "Your so stupid. Take you're stuff and leave." This irritates me to the point of violence. Let's have a quick little lesson: YOU'RE = YOU ARE. "YOU ARE stupid" = "YOU'RE stupid". YOUR = a possessive pronoun, as in "your dog", "your trailer", "your lack of intelligence".

Got it? Didn't think so. I know it's hard to understand, but try to stay with me.

Here's another peeve: the equally rising mental incompetents who cannot distinguish between "to" and "too". For example: "This is to hard!" or "I am to dumb too understand." Holy CRAP, it's not that difficult!

And then there's "Ebonics"...what government official was on crack the day **that** one was made official???

Consequently, having a sign outside your shop saying "We've got bargain's galore" doesn't make any sense, as it would mean that you have currently got the galore belonging to "bargain".
