Seems Dubya is afraid of the Americans he claims to trust. Why is he afraid of an accurate tally of the vote? He hides his cowardice with words of bravado and patriotism, but actions speak louder than words. The GOP was the first to drag this into the courts to try to stop a hand recount of the vote in Florida, while at the same time requesting hand recounts in New Mexico. Over 20,000 votes were not counted, yet Napolean wants to crown himself. Hypocrite! He reminds me of General Noriega, constantly trying to assert that he won before the votes are even counted. Why even have an election? He should have spent his campaign money on commercials telling us he already Was the president, not this Clinton guy, and that elections have been cancelled.
The vote is so close, so razor thin the margin, that EVERY VOTE MUST BE COUNTED! If the ballots were illegal and thousands of people voted for the candidate they hadn't intended to, then re-vote! It's not about dotting your i's and crossing your t's, it's about the will of the people, and if the means to measure the will of the people is flawed, the people must still be heard. Gore at least has the dignity to insist on an accurate final tally, while Bush desperately maneuvers to deny the will of the people. He is beneath contempt, and to call himself a patriot and a leader is the most fork-tongued of lies, the stench of treason stinks around him like a corpse, and a thousand rivers Jordan could not erase the sins of this hypocrite. He's as wicked as his father and as dumb as Dan Quayle, and anybody who has a
Bush/Cheney yard sign might as well stand on his lawn with a dunce cap and sell bananas out of a red wagon. Do we really need to give the rich a break? Why are so many people taken in by this nitwit who wants to hand the keys over to the wealthy? This prevaricator who communicates in empty feel-good patriotic platitudes, this coke-sniffing, drunk-driving frat pledge, who challenged his own father to a fistfight and enriched himself with Texas taxpayers money? Is this Americas future? Wake up, people! The economy is great, and Gore is more intelligent and qualified for the job than this phony, plus he has the popular vote. Don't let Generalissimo Bush gain the Whitehouse through a technicality. The people have spoken!
